Welcome to the Ageing Well Network
The Ageing Well Network brings together leaders from every aspect of the ageing sector, united by the shared goal of making Ireland the best place in the world in which to grow old.
We aim to bring together people who play pivotal roles in the creation, implementation and provision of policy, research and services, but who would not necessarily otherwise meet, in the hope that they can inform and advise each other.
It is our belief that this will help to create broad-based and integrated policies, geared both towards the needs of older people, and of our changing society. In order to deal with the challenges posed to our society by ageing we must take an innovative, multi-disciplinary approach. This is what the Ageing Well Network aims to facilitate
The Business of Ageing Conference
The Ageing Well Network has helped to form the Business Ageing Partnership. This partnership has come together to create Ireland's first Silver Market Conference, The Business of Ageing - Turning Silver into Gold. This one day conference will present leading specialists, national policy makers, potential investors and internationally renowned experts on business opportunities in the ageing world. They will inform you of the real value of this market, with case studies examined and individual parallel sessions looking at various markets and how they can adapt their product/service to sell to the Silver Market. Together the implications of the dramatic changes taking place in the world’s population will be addressed and analysed. It will look at how businesses can effectively respond, and consider Ireland ’s potential as a great country to grow old in.
